Health and Safety
At iPipe Services, we are committed to ensuring our projects are delivered safely, preventing harm to our employees, contractors, local communities and the environment. Health and safety is the cornerstone of all our activities and decisions we make as a business. We understand that systems are only as good as the people that work with them. Therefore, we constantly invest in our people to ensure that they are fully trained, competent and aware of their responsibilities with respect to health, safety and the environment both in the workplace and at home.
We rigorously adhere to world class quality, safety and environmental management systems, recognised by our triple SCI-QUAL certification and NATA accreditation. We continually review our safety practices, focus on risk management, and provide regular training to ensure that we maintain safety best practice.
We are committed to minimising the effect our activities have on the local environment we work in, and aim to reduce environmental impacts where possible by:
- Conserving and recycling resources
- Reducing waste and pollution
- Improve processes to help protect the natural environment
- Finding and developing solutions through technological innovations to reduce energy consumption and impacts on the local environment
- Ensuring our team is kept up to date with new innovations and practices
‘Safer Together’ participation
We are an active member of the Safer Together initiative (formed in 2014), working with more than 100 companies in the natural gas exploration and production industry. Participation in the group reinforces our commitment to consistent and continuous improvement of safety standards across industry.
‘Safer Mate’ internal initiative
As a business we continually reinforce the importance of safety in the workplace to our employees. We recognise those that consistently make safe work practices a priority and demonstrate value in our safety culture by awarding a team member with a monthly safety award.
