iPipe Services agrees major contract in Surat Basin
iPipe has signed a major contract for work on one of the largest gas supply projects on Australia’s east coast, responsible for general site clearance and the construction, installation and commissioning of civil and infrastructure works. Gas and water gathering systems, instrumentation and pressure testing of steel pipelines will also fall under their remit.
iPipe is an Australian owned, locally based and focused company, committed to local investment, procurement and recruitment. Having demonstrated this on previous projects, such as the Kogan North Construction Project where over 90% of the staff lived locally to the site, iPipe is committed to continuing this approach for Surat Basin and all future projects.
Our experience, specialist services, new technologies and execution methodologies designed for the gas industry will deliver significant production efficiencies and a reduction in cost of ownership for Arrow Energy. The award of the contract is validation of the research and development activities that we undertake in partnership with the University of Queensland, to provide efficiencies to the gas industry.
Our success in winning this globally contested major contract endorses the technologies that iPipe have developed and recognises the quality of our work. This positions iPipe to win more large contracts in the future and to continue our growth as a leader in the provision of industry technology to maximise efficiencies for the gas industry.
“The award of the Master Services Agreement by Arrow Energy further validates our decision to invest in iPipe. We were attracted to iPipe due to its innovation and solutions driven approach ensuring that the significant investment in infrastructure made by the gas proponents is optimised to its full potential. The Master Services Agreement represents the next step in an exciting phase of growth that iPipe is continuing to undergo. iPipe looks forward to working collaboratively with Arrow Energy to deliver safe and efficient outcomes for all stakeholders.” – Matthew Beach,iPipe’s Chairman and Partner at Alternative Asset Manager M.H.
